By preferably showing HTTPS pages in the search results, the company expects to decrease the risk of insecure connections and content injection attacks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Note that pages without an HTTPS counterpart aren&#8217;t affected in search results, however Google suggests that business owners help to increase security by redirecting their HTTP site to their HTTPS version and by changing the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> header on their server.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Need some help setting up HSTS on your site?
