- Backups act as a reference point that can be used to identify what the problem is, when it occurred and how it happened, leading to a resolution and prevention plan moving forward.
- Backups act as as a baseline to return to when issues cause a site to stop working altogether. Restoring the last known working copy of your site is only possible when a backup has been made.
Numinix has a strict policy of only performing work on development folders in order to avoid creating any site flow obstacles to your live site. The Numinix Dev Site Setup executes a backup as a part of this service. If you already have a dev site, a backup of your current site is still essential in order to create a reference point for any programming changes moving forward.
With the Site Backup service, we will copy all of your PHP and database files, and ensure that proper steps and procedures are followed regardless of which PHP version is installed on your server. Written authorization in our ticketing system is required in order to waive this vital service before performing any work.
The service price applies only to customers who have cPanel or shell access. Customers who do not have cPanel or shell access are subject to an additional $75 charge due to the extra time required to download and re-upload your entire database.
