American Key Supply

American Key Supply is a service provider and online shop that offers keys, tools, and other security-related products.

Numinix first supported American Key Supply by modernizing their Zen Cart website to be responsive, have an improved user interface, and implement modern web design styles.  In 2016 we began a major project to program a custom ecommerce platform to replace the Zen Cart catalog. The new system is blazingly fast and uses less server resources than Zen Cart.  As a result, the website can handle more simultaneous users, loads faster, converts 25% higher, and ranks higher in search engines.

The new platform consists of an ecommerce API which communicates with the database. The entire catalog system uses the API to streamline development.  This also made it possible for the client to easily expand their channels to include a mobile app, add a dropshipping program, and work with a wide range of developers without the risk of harming their core system.
