Description
If you're looking to clean up your product descriptions and save space without removing any content, this mod adds a simple expand/collapse functionality to your product descriptions.
The product description will load collapsed at a height you set in the mod's admin configuration menu. When the user clicks the expanding icon (eg. a plus sign), the description will expand to it's full size and the button will automatically change to a collapsing button (eg. a minus sign).
This mod relies on JavaScript being enabled. If JavaScript is disabled, the mod will not activate and the description will display expanded without any icons , making your content available for everyone, including search engines.
The mod comes with a nicely designed CSS Sprite of icons for each action, including hover states. If you want a unique design for your website, choose our custom design service to match this mod to your template.
Note: this mod requires CSS JS Loader in order to load its JavaScript and CSS libraries.
