Numinix rebuilt MSU from scratch as an open replacement for the encrypted Magic SEO URLs, preserving the established URL schema and honoring existing configuration values so inbound links and rankings remain intact.

Installation Overview
- Back up your store and current
.htaccess. - Remove legacy vendor assets from Magic SEO (e.g.,
includes/magic_seo_url.php,includes/msu/, legacy autoloaders,.htnginxfiles). - Upload the plugin’s
www/directory to your Zen Cart installation. - Ensure write permissions for
includes/auto_loaders/,includes/init_includes/, and temporarily for.htaccess. - Visit storefront or admin — MSU autoloads, registers the link decorator, hydrates requests, and builds
.htaccessautomatically when needed. - Review settings under Admin → Configuration → Magical SEO URLs (MSU), then restore
.htaccessprotections and schedule sitemap generation if desired.
Notes
Legacy Magic SEO URLs customers can upgrade to MSU without changing the URL format or losing SEO equity — the rebuilt module honours existing schema and settings.
