Limiting customer distraction is key to increasing your conversion rate. A login popup allows the customer to login or create an account without leaving the page.
The content of the pop-up box is dynamically populated using AJAX. The form submission for the login is completed using an AJAX post which if successful will close the login pop-up without refreshing the page. If an error occurs, it is displayed at the bottom of the pop-up box.
