Description

Improve usability and your Google Pagespeed score by automatically optimizing your images with lossless compression. This free plugin works similar to Image Handler and automatically creates optimized thumbnails for all images created using the zen_image() function. However, unlike Image Handler, Automatic Image Optimization uses the latest PHP libraries to get the optimal compression without quality degredation.

Speed plays an important role in website usability.  For every 1 second of page load, a website's conversion rate can decrease by 10% or more. Additionally, Google uses their patented Pagespeed score as part of their search engine ranking algorithm. Not only does a faster website convert more visitors into customers, it'll also lead to more traffic for your website.
