As of mid September, security support for PHP 5.4 is no longer available. This means that any store running on a Zen Cart version that does not support PHP 5.5+ will become unstable and should be upgraded as soon as possible.
Why do I need to update?
Using older versions of Zen Cart may expose you to security vulnerabilities and bugs that have been fixed in more recent versions.
Who needs to update?
It is strongly recommended to upgrade the following system versions: Zen Cart v1.5.2, Zen Cart v1.5.1 and Zen Cart 1.5.0.
Where do I check my Zen Cart version?
To find out what version of Zen Cart or PHP you are using, go to Admin>Tools>Server Info, or click “Version” on the top right navigation menu.
